Steven has studied voice with Jeanie Cameron (formerly of The Mike Speck Trio) as well as Charles Novell, Ph.D. (Middletown, Ohio). He has a full, rich lead voice that really rounds out the sound of Stedfast and has won first place in several voice competitions throughout years past. Steven is an accomplished songwriter, already penning three of the group’s national radio releases (“Fresh Anointing, Go By The Word and A Cross In The Way”). Steven has gained a lot of experience over the years in arranging vocals for various artists. He adds a lot of originality and innovation to making the sound of Stedfast engaging and unique. Steven has also accepted the call to preach. While primarily pursuing this work of the Lord outside the boundaries of Stedfast, exposure within the group does occasionally afford Steven an opportunity to share the gospel in word and in song. With a professional marketing and logistics background as well, Steven’s skills are a perfect match for the many facets and responsibilities of a musical performing group. In his spare time, Steven enjoys playing the bass guitar. All of these strengths more than qualify Steven to be the lead vocalist, arranger, and manager of Stedfast. stedfast@stedfastministries.com
